I put together a reading list this morning.

Otherwise I will stop reading after I finish The Hunger Games trilogy. The last time I put a reading list together—over two years ago—I failed miserably at keeping up with my reading. But it was full of classics and the like, which are generally harder to sustain an interest in successively. Here’s my new reading list, which is full of fun reads, classics, modern literature, biographies, short story compilations, and is generally more interesting and likely to hold my attention than my previous attempt:

Suzanne Collins - Mockingjay
Elliot Perlman - The Street Sweeper
Carrie Fisher - Shockaholic
Stieg Larsson - The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo
Stieg Larsson - The Girl Who Played With Fire
Stieg Larsson - The Girl Who Kicked The Hornets’ Nest
James Franco - Palo Alto
Cory Taylor - Me and Mr Booker
Benjamin Law - The Family Law
Donna Tartt - The Little Friend
Jeffrey Eugenides - Middlesex
Alasdair Duncan - Sushi Central
Chuck Palahniuk - Survivor
Anna Funder - All That I Am
Margaret Atwood - The Blind Assassin
Alice Sebold - The Lovely Bones
Chuck Palahniuk - Invisible Monsters
Ann Patchett - Bel Canto
Jane Austen and Seth Graham-Smith - Pride and Prejudice and Zombies
Chuck Palahniuk - Diary
Oscar Wilde - The Picture of Dorian Gray
Bernard Schlink - The Reader
Jeanette Winterson - Written on the Body
Zadie Smith - White Teeth

I plan to stick to this order somewhat. And I’ll probably end up re-reading all of The Wicked Years books by Gregory Maguire, somewhere in there. So yeah. Look out for my next ‘now reading’ update.
